Our Unique Model

Two Organizations, One Mission

The Foundation builds the intelligence layer: community profiles, financial literacy programs, skills training, and healthcare access. This is what makes responsible lending possible without traditional credit scoring.

The Cooperative provides interest-free savings and lending services that make community development sustainable. Members save collectively, and loans are disbursed without any interest charges.

Unlike microfinance institutions that charge interest, our integrated model eliminates the cost of borrowing entirely. Community profiling replaces credit scores. Collective savings replace institutional capital.

Building Blocks of Community Intelligence

Five interconnected programs that create the foundation for ethical financial inclusion

Core Program

Financial Literacy & Economic Empowerment

Structured programs on budgeting, savings, digital finance, and responsible borrowing that equip families to navigate the formal financial system.

Community Research & Social Profiling

Systematic household-level research that builds comprehensive community profiles, enabling ethical financial inclusion without traditional credit scoring.

Education Access & Skill Development

Removing educational barriers through quality schooling support, vocational training, and digital learning initiatives for youth and adults.

Primary Healthcare & Well-being

Preventive health programs and early vulnerability identification that address the single largest driver of financial distress in low-income households.

Research, Advocacy & Policy

Evidence-based research on financial behavior and inclusion that informs policy and practice in community-centered development.

Before Sahyog, I had no choice but to borrow from moneylenders at crushing rates. Now I save regularly and my business loan cost me nothing in interest.
